Why Houses are important
The house system was initially started as a part of the Boarding School Curriculum to inculcate a sense of belongingness and camaraderie amongst the students. The house system and house competitions aims at building community spirit and help younger students integrate into school life through social interaction and bonding. The house system also allows students to learn the importance of teamwork and to build on their leadership skills.
- LAKSHMI HOUSE-
MOTTO- SKY IS THE LIMIT- (AAKASH SEEMA HAI)
We have pricked the bubble of this dilemma and have defined her motto as sky is limitless. As our prosperous nature has helped us accomplish in meeting no bounds. We believe that a woman should be strong enough to empower the world with her immeasurable values. Our mothers believe in showering endless love, we believe in conquering endless achievements. For us this motto is not just a belief but a way of life.
- GAYATRI HOUSE-
MOTTO- KNOWLEDGE IS POWER- (GYAN HEE SHAKTI HAI)
It is known that a man with immeasurable physical strength commands power over others, but it is also a well known fact that a man who is knowledgeable holds all the power on the world. Education is the premise of every institution. Here at MIS we are brought up in an environment that brings out the true essence of the common belief that “The pen is mightier than the sword.” This house carries this torch of knowledge through excellence in areas of academics, cultural and sports.
- SANTOSHI HOUSE-
MOTTO- FROM IGNORANCE, LEAD ME TO TRUTH-(ASTOMA SADGAMYA)
People have searched for truth without realising that all truth lies within. We in MIS believe that all paths to success lead through truth and sincerity. Our house believes in this strongly that through truth only we can become a perfect human being. We through our sincere efforts work in unity to bring laurels to our house. Our true dedication has never failed us and helped us in making truth a way of life.
