Understanding the IB Diploma Programme:

The IB Diploma Programme caters to students aged 16 to 19, offering an academically challenging and balanced education with final examinations. The Core Components:

Theory of Knowledge (ToK): ToK centers around the question, "How do we know?" The course includes critical analysis questions called Knowledge Issues, with students completing one hundred hours over two years.

The Curriculum:

Course Selection:

Assessment in the IB Diploma Programme includes written examinations at the program's end, marked by external examiners. Internal assessments, initially marked by teachers and moderated externally, contribute to the overall grade. Students can earn up to three additional points for combined results on TOK and the EE. The diploma is awarded to students scoring at least 24 points, with a maximum of 45 points attainable.
