Director
“In the midst of dynamic changes that are taking place in all sectors of life, education
is a subject, the potential of which has not been fully realized.
Today in the field of education what is needed is a new synthesis, which would harmonize
the ancient aim of self knowledge and modern aim of world knowledge. To facilitate
this we need to focus on the individual child and her ability to learn the art and
science of creative living, in the global context. The emphasis must be on the enrichment
of the human spirit, which alone can bring about the much needed social transformation.
At MIS, it has been our endeavour to provide value oriented learning opportunities
that cultivate the mind, enrich the lives of our children and prepare them to meet
the challenges of tomorrow. We strive to enable the child to grow and develop integrally
without losing contact with her soul.
We nurture the ambience of the school with great care. The result is an atmosphere
of self discipline, joyous learning and freedom. Freedom which evolves out of awareness,
choice and responsibility.
We believe to create a new future we must first create a new consciousness in our
children. So that the world of tomorrow will be better than today.
I want to acknowledge one of the great strengths of our school, the caring relationship
between our teachers and our students. Our teachers are true mentors for the students
in their care . Their work begins in the classrooms and hostel but it does not stop
there as they assist and inspire each child navigate the journey from childhood
to adulthood in their quest for a nobler and more perfect existence.
We have many plans on the anvil for the future and continue in our aspiration to
build further on the excellence that is MIS” – Mrs. Mahrukh Singh
